Rugby is a team game, no make that a squad game. And not only the players on the field for a specific week but also those who have contributed on the training grounds throughout the season.
It hasn't been an easy task for Kai and Clive to nominate the MoM winner each week as evidenced by the numerous "honourable mentions" in the huddle after matches.
Showing the wealth of talent, there have been 17 different award winners with only 4 players receiving it more than once.
For the record, the MoM awards have gone to, in no particular order: Dan Cousineau, Kiddie Sheikh, Xander Hall-Davis, Ben May, Jonny Griffiths, Dan Griffin, Iain Parris, Sam Book, Matt Thresher, Escher Le Duc, Rob Fitch, Zak Harwood, Clive Book, Jack Moore, Kane Book, Ben Hurd and Chris Mutlow.
(And also for the record as people will enquire) Escher and Sexy won it 3 times each whilst Xander and Thresh collected it twice.
Looking back on that list, it's a tribute to the squad strength and also to their continuing excellence week on week that Jonny Batchelor and Rhys van den Handel have stayed under the radar with their consistent displays throughout the season.
